    Default iPod Touch 2.0 Queries...

    Hey,

    If you don't have a iPod Touch on 2.0 then don't bother reading this.
    But if you do, did you pay for it through the Apple Store or did you download the firmware and install it through holding Shift and clicking "Restore" (the free way)?

    If you did it the second way, could you please tell me if it actually worked for you? I don't have a iTunes Store account with money on (or a PayPal account) and I don't feel like buying a £15 gift card if I'd only use £5.99 of it and I'm thinking of downloading 2.0 and installing it the free way.

    Opinions?
