QuickTime - No sound?

Hey,

On my macbook, Quicktime has started to play up.

It plays no sound at all, so I have to use VLC to watch videos. I want to use quicktime but I dont know how to fix this!

Any ideas? lol

Is it the updated version? Tried uninstalling quicktime with AppZapper then reinstalling it? Still not working. Post on Mac Rumors!

Yeah I tried unistalling and reinstalling Ill remove the quicktime stuff from library and try installing again

I googled your problem and one person says open Garageband, close it. Try qicktime again. Sounds strange. I hope you can get it fixed.

Uninstall/Reinstall didnt work - Neither did the GarageBand thing

Yeah contact Apple/Submit a ticket thing on the Apple site.

Deleted the whole QuickTime library etc and then re-installed again - Then installed QT again and DivX and xVid codec's and its working all again
