    Windows:
Open iTunes > Open iPod > Shift-Click "Restore" > Find FW file > Open.

    Mac:
I'd assume same thing, but the Apple key instead of shift, try cmd too.

Make sure you've got iTunes 8.0 first however, it could muck up if you don't.

If you already have your iPod on 2.0 - 2.0.2 then they think you bought it and its free.

Just update to 2.0 (it's free with the online file) and then update to 2.0.2 and jailbreak if you want to using quickpwn.

Why would you goto 2.0.2 and jailbreak when 2.1 is out and I think, jailbroken? :|

oh musta read wrong lol. I though 2.0.1. Anyway don't upgrade to itunes 8 if you want to jailbreak. There's nothing wrong with 7 so there isn't really a need to anyway.

iTunes 8 is a beast, especially with Genius play lists and the grid view. Plus its not slow and crap like it was before!
