Does somebody want to explain to me how a hurricane -IN THE UNITED STATES- caused gas prices -IN CANADA- to go up 12 cents? Do they ship the gas from the middle east to the USA before sending it to Canada...I doubt it...

I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
It's $2.08 Canadian for fuel over here so don't complain!
Hurricanes stop oil/gas/whatever it is production in the gulf of Mexico.
Is that good enough?
