Another thing from CERN, first they created internet, now the LHC... Yet another thing, THIS.
The Grid is a "transformation" to internet, which basically will be 10,000 times faster than the current internet, and something else which will effect CPU's.

It's rumoured soon, but my Science teacher informed us it would be around within the next 40 years, CERN already use this in their HQ's etc..
