Quote from Evening Star Late Night!In Ipswich today, at approximately 6:04 PM, a paramedic arrived at a warehouse in Ipswich, followed by an amulance with its sirens on.
Soon after, at around 6:10pm, 5 police vans followed by 3 police cars, and a swat team arrived.
Out of the warehouse came two masked men, covered in army combats and a balaclava, each wielding a shotgun, and raced off in a top of the range Audi TT, full with stolen good.
The car let out gunshots, as they sped away with the police chasing them.
5 more police cars joined the chase, with 2 more vans.
The getaway car then stopped at a local school at around 6:20pm, and let off more gunshots while fleeing on foot.
Police soon cornered the men, giving SWAT officers time to surround the two madmen.
The men gave up their weapons, after being shot at several times and one serverly injured, and were taking into custody immediately.

We don't have swat teams!! If they are going to exaggerate they should atleast get it right.

Yer we dont have SWAT we have CO19. And they arent much like SWAT.
Closest thing we have to SWAT is 22nd reg.
Also there isnt anything on there website and it sounds like a personal account of the events. Not a news story.Last edited by Corporal; 13-09-2008 at 09:56 PM.
