Okay guys, i'm getting my PS3 from game tomorrow.

I have a problem though. The 80GB PS3 on its own is £299.99 at game. Now at the same price, is the 40GB PS3, but with two games; fifa 08 and Sega Rally. I'm really not interested in sega rally at all, however since fifa 09 is just around the corner, i'm not sure I want to get fifa 08.

What do you think i should go for? 80GB with no games or 40GB with two old games? Bare in mind i'm going to be watching movies on the PS3 mainly via bluray

BTW, i'm probably going to upgrade the hard drive myself anyway, if that makes any difference.

So apart from hard drive space, what does the 80GB have that the 40GB doesn't? Any extra features?

Hmm, couldn't you buy the 40gb model and sell the games?

Possibly, but they aren't really worth much at all, are they?

You'll probz get about £8 trade in/£6 cash for Sega Rally and about £14 trade in/£12 cash for Fifa 08, depending on which game shops you go to.

Well, I went out and bought the 40GB one. I'm going to upgrade the hardrive to 320GB anyway.

The only problem you have by buying the 40GB one is that it's now discontinued so they don't stock it once they've ran out. You can just get it replaced with an 80GB but it's just hassle as it has to go through tills.

why don't u just buy a 40gb without the games, surely cheaper and more efficient?
