Try downloading Visual Basic 8 and editing it with that And Visual C#/C++ could come in handy! THen browse the internet for hints and tips shouldnt be too hard =]

If you get visual basic, you can edit the visual basic project files. If you google for visual basic internet browser I'm sure you'll find some tutorials on how to make one yourself from scratch using visual basic.

You can only edit the file if you have the source to the program (don't start on decompiling it..).
Dont use the browser in Visual Basic unless there is a purpose for it. It's basically just IE.
there are loads of tutorials on the interwebs for VB browsers.
If you're that desperate how about just making a theme for FireFox or something, they way you have your own refresh button etc.
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.
