I would like to point out that the debates that should have ended on the 22nd are still running Also I hope that when they get closed you have some more to come.

The member debates are running pretty well with some great topics :8 I think you need to get some more controversial topics for the official debates.

Yeah I think we kinda forced that job onto the CS lot and with Catzsy away it got pushed aside. Rumour has it the CS lot are being kicked into gear now so all things like that should be sorted rather soon

I blame them then lol are they like the MI5 ? No idea who they are apart from their leader who seems to have been abducted by aliens.
Lets have some debates that can get a little heated I am sure the people making the official ones worry to much about how they could cause arguments and go for the more safe (boring) option.

Nick- said a while back that there are some in the administrator forum ready to be moved so I don't know what's going on with that. As Alex said, it's the CSs job now but without a manager, there's not much they can do!

Feel free to fire some suggestions at CS Things like abortion usually go down quite well in terms of quality debates. Maybe legalising cannabis and smoking age and all the generic stuff that people can't seem to agree on

Who are the CS team? actually I will check the forum leaders

If I get an idea for a good debate I would post it in the members debates im afraid :eusa_danc I would'nt want to wait a week or even longer for it to be posted up because I would probably feel less passionate about the subject by then.

What happened to Catszy? Abducted by aliens? Fed to a killer cow??
Or simply away on personal business (nah, too simple)?

Yeah, luckily though, member debates keep it updated though.

Right, firstly apologies that this hasn't be dealt with. Indeed Community Support were planned to take over management of the official debates a while back but due to the manager being away the transition never really took place. I must confess that really I should have kept an eye on debates in the mean time as I (and other administrators) were dealing with them prior to Community Support "take over" of the role of dealing with them.

Community Support is currently being sorted out and really took a hit because of the manager being away. I was recently assigned to helping sort out the department so hopefully I can do that. For anyone who is wondering what community support does basically they are in charge of dealing with things like the debates forum, maintaining a positive forum morale, being a voice and "connection" of the members as well as dealing with support tickets via the support system.

The department was new when the manager had to go away and this caused the department to slump and fail to move forward. It isn't the managers fault this occurred or anyones - it was just one of those things. Due to the manager being away for longer than expected it is only recently we've decided to make a move and get community support back on track.

Suggestions for what you'd like to see from the department are as always appreciated and additionally I'm going to be trying hard to get the department back into shape so we can deal with things like the debates forum quicker.
