ive read that you can only jailbreak it atm, but not unlock it. im not bothered about jailbreaking it though as i dont care too much for the extra apps. all i want is to use my vodafone simcard lol.

    also
if i bought the iphone 3g PAYGO, if i managed to use my vodafone simcard with the sim kit, will i still be able to use the unlimited wi-fi around the UK?

is the unlimited package tied with the iphone itself, or the o2 simcard?

Everything to do with the network will be tied to the SIM.

I heard off MacRumors that it's not possible to jailbreak OR unlock the new iPod touch or the iPhone 3G? Or is that just the new iPod touch...

You unlock a iPhone 3G i hurd you can't use the 3G service which is provided...

I myself brought one on september 16th (o2 pay and go) and wouldn't go back!! I get free unlimited data, no 18 month contract so if they decide to bring another one out I can just buy one.
