Deleting the games forum? Management would never do that, but then when it comes to the "Post your ___ " threads which don't have much spam its fine to close/lock them.
The whole of the games forum is based on spam, yet in threads like post your setup most posts were constructive and were not spam. The posts that were against the rules were dealt with like any other thread, so I don't see why it couldn't stay like that.

I'm sure there were plenty of rants in 07 about this and they got ignored
and the people who got their post count up via games forum cried

But to be fair, the spam forum has more worthwhile posts than the games forum.
