    Default Building a PC

    Hey.

My dad and I are thinking about making a new custom build PC. So yes anyway, I have some questions that needs answering please so we can decide whether to go forward with it or not.

    - How easy is it to build one? (Is it just fit and screw etc.)
    - If it was for gaming what would be the price range of building one?
    - Which store(s) are the best for components/who are the cheapest also?

So that's it for now. Might consider just getting a Dell if it's not worth the hassle.

(+REP to those who've answered the questions)

It's easy if you know what your doing, but a headache if not. It's good to have some experience in the field.

Depends what sort of thing your planning really. I'm building one at the moment with a budget of £500-600 and that gets you something pretty nice.

There a LOADS of tutorials around Google if you search.

    www.Aria.co.uk
    www.eBuyer.com
    www.overclockers.co.uk
    www.scan.co.uk
    www.novatech.co.uk

    All good shops.

Your probably looking at about £500 for a very decent machine.

Thanks for those sites, ebuyer is only 20 mins from me (felt like telling you that). £400-600 will probably be our budget. +Rep

Edit: Got to spead. I rarely rep people so it might take a few years for you to get it

It's easy. Just plugging bits in and a few screws here and there. Spend about the amount you specified on the base unit. Buy online from places like Aria or Ebuyer (or go to them if you're close). getting a Dell may come to around a similar price but where's the fun in that?
