Nikon D60 is poor. It doesn't have an AF motor within the body, therefore you have to buy expensive Nikkor AF lenses.

Personally I am a Canon user, but I would highly recommend the Fujifilm S5 Pro, a lot of camera for your money there and has a Nikon mount, therefore a wide selection of lenses.

Don't jump in and buy a camera though, go to Jessops and handle the cameras, it's mainly about what feels best in your hands.

If you need anymore help, feel free to ask me.

    Hey there,

I would say if you are looking to enter the DSLR market, to have more than £300-400 budget. You can get a 450D and kit lens for £500
