Okay so basically i have gears of war 2. I bought it from a mate that didnt want it anymore. As soon as i got it i checked the disk and it was fine ( cant be too sure with these things ) so i play it .. go to school. i come back and after playing it for a while ... disk unreadable. So i think oh **** ok il check the disk i get the disk out and theres a massive circular scratch around the disk. Im fairly sure its the reader or whatever that has done it but i dont know what i can actually do. Anybody got any advice ??? ( and no i cant return it to him and get my money back )

Get one of those disk cleaners or take it to a video game store and act like you got it from their store and ask for a refund or to get the disk cleaned.

oops cant believe i posted in wrong section.
Anyway. Yeh my dads come home and he said he can take it into work with him cause theyve got a profecional disk cleaner there so he'll use that. If that doesnt work ... im stuffed

Its a laser burn, so basically, your stuffed. Try take it back.

That was a common problem, sounds like the 360 was turned onto its side/stood up while playing the disk, he must have an older console that had this problem.
