Yes, they probably meant they upgraded to 1.1.2 because jailbreaking was finally available for it (oh how I miss the 1.1.1 days when it was just a click to jailbreak :/).. Originally Posted by Panda

Jailbreaking is the act of modifying the firmware (Operating System) of the ipod touch or iphone to allow the installation of a application (Installer [2.0 coming soon] Or Cydia) which then is exactly like the AppStore, except everything is free to download.
