I've been told it looks like monitor is floating, so don't bring that up. It's a sloppy concept, but do you think it has potential and more importantly, should I develop it?

It has potential if the screen was more like an iMac screen.

it's an apple cinema display AFAIK.

The colouring of the screen just doesn't blend in with the white design.
Try something like that but maybe play around with it?Back for a while.

It's ok but I feel it may be a little 'gimmicky'. It reduces the usability of the page, leaves large white spaces and to be brutally honest it doesn't look that great. I think you can do a lot better Richard
. Thats just my opinion though.
