    Default DS Broken.

It still works just when I try and move the screen it moves straight back, you know like back to the lowest level so I gotta hold it up.
    It's the hinge.

You're not covered by like Gamecare or Currys whatever happens insurance are you?
If not then Nintendo don't give a stuff I think, they care about manufacturers errors and not wear and tear.
You could always drop it in a sink and claim it on the insurance, mind you that is fraudulant!

Mine was still under the warranty or something like that. One had the hinge broke; the second fell down the stairs and got it's on/off button broke; and the third randomly turned off.

    Got them all replaced though.
