audio trouble

hey, my laptop was recently rebooted with vista ultimate, and ever since ive had it back i haven't had audio, It says when i right click the volume,
that there are headphones plugged in, but there isnt :s

any help?

I'm going to need more information, if i'm to provide any assistance. Where you said rebooted with vista, did you mean reformatted? Do you have any built in / internal speakers? What driver / drivers do you currently have installed? What model / make is your pc?

Sorted it out, Just went to the acer site and downlaoded the origonal audio drivers ;D
