    That bloody lexmark one. I hit delete, nothing.

    drag it to your recycling bin.

    If not, press F5 on your desktop. May not have refreshed it.

    If its a program go to your CP then Add or remove programs find it and get rid of it
    did you stab edward cullen with a pencil or what?

    hmm.
    i'll tell you what i did with a file that wouldn't delete.

    open cmd and task manager.
    kill your windows explorer in task mngr
    and use the delete command in cmd to delete the icon
    then use task mngr to bring back explorer.

    Right click on your desktop > Properties > Desktop > Button "Customize desktop"

    You should come to something like this;


    Look for a tickbox for "Printer" or something like that?
