It's not sorta' a problem but last night my mum tripped over the xbox, it was off and there was a disc in it. It isnt scratched but I was wondering if I play a game off a disc will it scratch? I can play PoP + CoD:WaW off HDD fine.

It won't scratch as I said on MSN
It would have done if the console was on and a game inside though. 
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

I don' think it will scratch, I know it's not the same sitution, but I've been moving my xbox up and down my house, and always forget to take my disk out, I play the disk and it's fine.
