Whats next for gaming?

The christmas rush of games is coming to an end with the releases of PoP and The Last Remnant. But now in what direction is the video game market going to go, this year was very WWII and shooter heavy, with next year full of thrillers such as Alan Wake and Resident Evil 5 with a possibility of the SAW video game being released as Grash Entertainment look for a publisher. Will next year be a game for gory and zombie filled blockbusters or will it be an equally balanced year such as 2006 and 2007.

Tell me what games your looking forward to, why, the long awaited releases and your favourite genre of games.

Can't see me buying many games next year. I've not been properly impressed with a game for months.
