    Default Itunes problem

I have a problem with renaming songs on iTunes. When I upgraded to windows 7 I moved the music on my iPod off onto my computer. Now when I right click and select get info all the fields are grey and I can't change them. The songs are on my computer so I can't think of a reason why I can't edit them. I will give rep for help. Thanks.

Its nothing to do with windows 7, I have tried running iTunes in XP compatibility mode and it still doesn't work.
Lets set the stage on fire, and hollywood will be jealous.

It can still be windows 7's fault. Take Prodesktop for example. On vista it sucks. Even in compatibility mode. Or Solid works on xp it is good, on vista xp compatiblitly mode it sucks.

I am 100% sure it has nothing to do with windows 7. Vista and 7 use the same kernel anyway so there shouldn't be any comparability issues with iTunes. Plus all the other features work in iTunes, it's just this 1 error.

It could be some sort of software (like .net framework) that is preinstalled in vista but not on 7 that could be causing a problem. (Although it is a minute problem). The team making windows 7 are unlikely to stick in everything from vista so do expect some problems whilse they make win7 solutions.
