    Default Insurance for 1 week?

    Hiya.

It's my birthday on Saturday and when I renew my insurance then its a lot cheaper (due to me being a year older obviously).

However, it means I have another week until Saturday that I am uninsured and I would much rather not be.

Therefore, does anyone know anyone who will insure me for say a week? Thanks

(pls dont say google, they aren't suitable and I have already had a bit of a rummage myself)

I insured myself a week at a time with Churchill whilst driving my friend's mum's car (long story...) but that was in addition to the main driver. Not sure if they just do it for a week straight off, worth a try though.

if you phone up your current insurance company and explain the situation they'll probably give you temporary cover for the week.

i had to drive my dad's car when mine was in the garage and I got 2 days cover for 35 quid.

i'm the star in the reasonably priced car!
