well because of my problem with my ps3 and trying everything and getting no help from sony taking it back to game to get it exchanged just one thing i want to know.
well i know some games you need new saves for trophys. well if i copy my data and then get a new ps3 and transfer it to the new ps3 will i be able to still get the trophys or will that sort of void my data from getting tropheys?

I dont reckon no, because your just copying saved data, unless the ps3 saves trophys, then in that case yes.
Theres only one way to find out :8

I don't think you can copy saved trophies, otherwise people would be sending each other trophies instead of achieving them themselves.

Trophies save to you PSN ID. However when you save, you psn is saved to it as well. So if you copy a save from a different PSN, then trophies will be disabled when using that save.

They're saved to the console aswell because you can still earn trophies when not connected to the PSN then sync them when you log in.
