    Do you have sound drivers?
    Have you installed the MP3 fix?

    edit: I instaleld a random MP3 fix from microsoft, and it ain't working.

    Have you tried another player? like VLC?

    Yeah VLC is usually good for me and this benifited me to http://www.moviecodec.com/downloads/20d.html

    He's got sound, can't you read a thread?
