    Default KP Resigns as England Captin.

    Kevin Pietersen has resigned as England cricket captain.

    The 28-year-old has been involved in a public falling out with coach Peter Moores and a decision on their futures was expected by the end of this week.

    Whats going on?! For the last 2 Years and a bit England hasn't been the same.

    KP. Could quit the England quit the England team altogether and join up South Africa - As he eligible to do so.

    They've both "resigned" - great thing to happen with the Ashes coming up. Don't think he'll go and play for South Africa though, he just said that he wouldn't tour the West Indies with the current management setup.
    Anyways, English cricket is just a shambles now. Strauss 1/5 favourite to be new captain.

    He should never of been appointed captain anyway.

    well who else could of been appointed? cause he was favourite.

    He was the favourite so that justifies his appointment? No. Strauss should've been named captain or Flintoff for that matter.

    Strauss hit some terrible form and Flintoff wasnt really in running?

    Half the team wanted Pietersen over Moores, half wanted Moores over Pietersen. Both had to go.
