so i thought my PS3 was all set up properly and i've been playing it for a while now, until i play a game saying i dont have a hdmi cable, so im not getting a HD picture.
i have a HD ready Sony KDL-26U3000 tv.
how would i go about connecting my ps3 to my tv with a hdmi cable, and does it matter which cable i use?

Well you get the hdmi cable and plug it into the back of the ps3 then plug it into the tv

Get a good one though, there is little difference between a cheap hdmi cable and a SCART cable

will it will work with my tv though? some of my mates have tried it with different tvs and it didnt work.
and will i have to change my PS3 settings? ive heard something about holding the power button to reset them to hdmi?
