If its one ip, its DoSing and he aint doing a good job if you can still access your site.

Your question is, Find the Ip of a proxy, you provide an IP - what do you want?

Get the legit IP of the person DDoSing, So if i contacted the proxy(Once i've found which one) then asked for the IP of the person doing the attacks.

You know what a proxy is for, its for being anonymous - obviously the person whos "DoSing" you don't want you to find him. You wont get any co-operation from a proxy company either - They won't even listen to their government let alone you.

Just block the IP thats "DoSing" you, or really loves your website.

VPN is a virtual private network, say I could connect to my colleges WAN if they give me a VPN to connect to.

Its basically like me being logged on a system at college but at home

    (not a very good example)
