Well for my coursework piece we have to:

Evaluate the marketing strategy of a familiar product or service, making recommendations on whether the market mix should be changed in any way.

I chose Colman's English Musard (lol). Well I can't find any secondary research on it at all. If anybody could find me sites with reviews (that aren't dooyoo or ciao), or extensive information on the company/product I would be eternally grateful! +REP of course also.

[Duno if you ask for help in this section?]

Well the marketing mix is the 4 P's which are 'the blend of product, place, promotion, and pricing strategies designed to produce satisfying exchanges with a target market'.

Promotion- watch some adverts on youtube, or look for print adverts and see how it is advertised... is it advertised at the right sort of person? how has it changed in any way?

Pricing strategies- too expensive? Compare to the price of other similar products.

Place- is it widely available in shops?

Product does it have a USP... what makes it unique...
Colmans is a traditional, old fashioned product. The product has adapted by changing to squeezy bottles and making it healthier blah blah blah

edit: sorry just realised that didn't answer your question whatsoever

Ugh, that's your coursework piece? I have to for Bus St produce a complete business plan, including pricing, ideas, marketing - the lot. Will take a good 40 hours or so to complete. I would so much rather prefer your c/w.
