Default BEST OS for msn and music.

I have a old computer that needs to be able to run msn and music, thats it. windows xp works ok but it freezes alot, i was thinking of maybe trying minixp *the stripped down version* i have tried linux but my wireless card is one of the few that has little or no support or compatibilty. what should i use? even windows me would work if i could hack it alittle to get newest msn. or if there was a patch..

Win2k or install XP and strip it down making it run as little services and other processes as possible.

    Now for some helpful advice:
Use Nlite to shrink XP as much as you can.
