Took me like 2 minutes to make it.

Recorded it, then gave me the options of saving as avi or animated gif.
No longer than print screening something then cropping it, infact it was quicker than cropping an image

How would the height make any different, a marquee height is always the same height where ever the text is..

I thought you were referring to the bottom of the marquee missing? It can also be that you need to transparent the marquee.
