    Default updating iphone through itunes

    if i updated my iphone to version 2.2 through itunes (i have 2.1), would it brick my fone?

    my iphone is only unlocked and not jailbroken btw.

    probs been posted before but i cba to search when i can just make a new thread.

    i jailbroke n unlocked it when i first got the fone. then i restored it and the fone kept its unlocked status.

    im 100% sure lol. my contracts on vodafone and its not jailbroken.

    Basically then, If it isn't jailbroken it shouldn't still be working. Don't upgrade as far as I'm concerned if you don't want to lose unlocked status, but I'm pretty sure all you would have to do is re-unlock.

    ill leave it as it is then lol. im planning on changing to o2 in the upcoming months, so ill wait until then and see what to do.

    It will be jailbroken yet you won't have Cydia or installer on it, they probably opted to remove it with using pwnage tool.
