Go to the gp? If you're eye is swollen and you use the computer excessively then that may be a cause but knowing the cause does not warrant putting off a trip to the gp. If you have hayfever if could be that (doubt it)

Visit your gp. If my eye starting getting lumps/swelling that's what I would do. Not post on here.

It sounds like a small infection in your eye. It'll probably be itchy and you'll want to rub it but don't, just try to ignore it. It may also hurt a bit when you blink 'hard', it might feel like a bruise might when you touch it. Doesn't sound like something to worry about, should go away in a couple days. If it's bothering you or doesn't go away go to your GP and you'll probably get drops.

You have a "Stylie". Go to doctors and he gives u theese drops which sort it out, try not to touch it or rub it becuase it just makes it worse.

I have had several of theese and really annoying.

    go straight to the doctor
this is sometimes a symptom of early blindness
or an early stage of cancer...
    unless you have cut yourself
then its just swollen thru blood not being able to get there....
it may also be a blood clot
    but get it checked mate

he said the lump was on the LID. this sounds, as many people have mentioned, like a common Stye,Stylie,Wisp etc. It's just a small infection in the eye. I told him to go to the GP if it persists but there's no need to proclaim cancer at every use of the word 'lump'.

it could be a stye or a little cyst, both of which are harmless. id advise going to a pharmacy and asking ther advice, they will be able to tell if its a cyst or if ther not sure recomend u c a doctor.

I've had one of those before, and at the same spot too, bottom eyelid of my right eye. I did not go to the doctors, and it took about 2 weeks to go away? I don't think it's something to worry about.
