Well yeah, woke up, found out that i couldn't make any calls, but i could access the interwebs, receive texts and receive phone calls. I did a hard reset and a restore. Any suggestions?

You may need to speak to O2. If there's nothing wrong on their end, you will probably need a replacement I guess.

same issue happened to my friend, in Canada. Found out it was the actual phone, he dropped it and it wouldn't allow outgoings.

you should probably take it into an Apple Store or an o2 shop to get them to look at it.

If your speaking to a customer rep, play totally stupid, let on that you did not drop the phone ect, In some cases, it's very apparent that you did, but you might just get away with it.

Sounds like a blacklisted handset, but I'm guessing it's brand new?
