Hey folks

I just spent about an hour trying to find a decent copy of Uwe Boll's 'Far Cry', as I wanted to try and review it for the Purple View, but I guess everybody hates me, so I can't.

So enough about my worries, and let's talk about real tings, we've officially hit another great depression... and just about 30% of the video game market will be effected in the next 6 months... so who's gonna go next?

I strangely feel that Rockstar are gonna hit the hard times after Lost and Damned, and it's obvious that Media Molecule (who didn't sell well with LBP) will have a few problems too.

- The Wii will stop selling dramatically.
- Nintendo will annouce another 1st party game (Star Fox, F-Zero)
- Reggie (President of Nintendo America) will step down.

- The 360 will continue to dominate the hardcore market.
- A sequel to Fallout 3/Fable 2 will be annouced.
- Call of Duty 6 will be game of the year.

- PS3 will pick up in sales but not as much as the 360.
- PS3 will have a price-cut half-way through the year.

I dont think Rockstar will do bad this year - they made a mint from GTA IV an no doubt they will make a mint with The Lost and Damned.

Media Molecule is a good predication. They are still a fairly new company, and only have 1 game under their belts (LBP). But as LBP illustrates, they make fantastic games, and if they continue to do that throughout 2009 I think they could be OK.
