Locking messages, files etc

I know that on certain Samsung handsets there are codes you can setup that will lock people out of seeing your messages or pictures and videos.

Is there any such software you can download/use to do this on Sony Ericsson or Symbian handsets?

I have one called FileLock 1.0 but it only locks files.

How it works is, you access the application via a passcode and u select files u wnt to hide. The program changes the format to .pngx or .jpgx so its un recognizable by the phone. and then when u want them 2 be visible you change the formatt back by going back to FileLock n pressing unlock.
