What!?!! A video clip that is 1.14 Gb, that cannot be correct. My Windows operating system is only a bit larger than that when I downloaded the ISO.

    maybe compress it first
Like for example, you could archive it, or make it a different format (eg: AVI)

The only way you're gonna get it to a reasonable size is to lower the settings when you convert it. Try making the audio bitrate lower (I usually use 112kbps) and changing the channels to mono because doing that generally doesn't have too much of a detramental effect on the sound and reduces file size by a fair bit. Also, if its super high res, take it down to somewhere around 640*480 (somewhere around there, it'll be different for widescreen) and take the framerate down to to around 24fps (I believe that's what TV channels anyway so it should be fine).

I find wmv produces the smallest files, idk if that's true though.

    Good luck

No you don't need an account, it will be available for 90 days though, so thats a shame if you want something longer, than you should get an account at acrobat.com
