Where to buy apple iphone 2g

I did want the iPhone 3G till I saw it would cost my £93 for the phone and £35 a month totalling to about £720 which is outrageous!

So yeah, i think i'd rather put up with slower internet with money in my pocket!

any ideas?

Do you pay for the 2G?
I don't really get the rules around 2G or 3G, can someone explain to me if WiFi is free also?

i bought it from ebay for 200 quid last sept. my contracts on vodafone, but im planning on going onto o2 in a few months.

wi-fi is only free if u get a contract through o2 and it states that u have unlimited wifi for the year (with the cloud i think). i think the iphone contracts on o2 come with free wi-fi and data.

if u do buy the fone from ebay and get a contract seperately, on o2 check out o2 simplicity. thats wot im gonna get. its cheap for wot u get and u can get unlimited data or wi-fi (cant remember which one lol) as a bolt-on.
