soo err yeah, the bit that connects screen to keyboard bit ripped the other day (a bit of it) which left a TINY wire showing and i kinda spilt water on it
room smelt of burning, gas was rising from my laptop and it hasn't turned on since, am i pretty much ******?

sounds like its ready for the big black bin in the garage
, u can get a goodish laptop for less than £300 now so its not that bad.

He's clearly being dumb.. Gas cannot spill from your laptop. How do you rip a keyboard, it would break.. It would be a covered wire there not exposed so spilling water on the wire would do nothing..
