Yes indeed, all respects to a very good actor; Wendy Richard who played Pauline Fowler in Eastenders has sadly died as a result of cancer.
She was with Eastenders for 21 years.
CoD was as a result of breast cancer.

Yes she recently made a speech; like months after she left.

No, she left because she felt the producers/writers/whatever were sending her character down the wrong path, and that her character would never re-marry. So she decided to leave.
