Default This is REALLY complicated for me =|

Right well, im 14 [year 10] and i like one of my good mates (Meg), we've known each other for about 6 years. In primary school we didnt speak at all (i was a domented child ) when we got into year 7 we became mates, we went out, and like any relationship for an 11 year old it didnt last long at all. We didnt speak for about 8 months. I had a different girlfriend and i started going out with meg behind her back [i would never do anythin like that again] that lasted about a year. So then we didnt speak again for like a year. For a couple of months now we have been good mates and i like her alot, if i asked her out again and she said no then it would be really awkward and i would have lost a great mate, if she says yeah, its not gna last forever so then after the relationship it wouldnt be the same as we are now. We have both matured alot since the cheating and the petty arguments of years 7 & 8. I have no idea what to do. HELP ! :S

I think its best if you just leave it as it is now. Its good to be mates than rather have a relationship because sometimes it just goes not has its surpose to (Like it has before). If your serious about going out with her and want to make it work, then talk to her about it and see how she feels.
    Hope you sort things out

Wait a bit longer. Become better friends with her and then ask her out.
By the way, where do you live in West Midlands?

You can still have petty arguments in Year 10. Best to just leave it for a while longer then the situation may simplify itself and you'll be able to make a decision on your own. Relationships tend to need 100% committment from both sides for it to work. If you've got doubts, those doubts will ruin it, so yeah, it may be better in the long term to see how things develop.

ask yourself this, would you prefer to keep her as a friend or risk losing her as a friend all together if your reltionship goes to pot.

In the end you're not going to know each other forever, so meh I'd just go for it. Relationships in schools usually fail anyway, seriously you see someone too much and you just get irritated by it.

But then... I'm guessing you might be friend zoned with this girl for knowing her so long. Ya know what, take a page out of Toms book: Get her drunk.

    LOL!

Just talk to her, don't ask her say if I did what would you say and see what she says and like do what you think is right after that!

If you go out with close mates, like at your age (mine too) it's not good. Because as you know, relationships at our sort of age never last forever, so going out with her basically breaks that friendship and then you don't go out, and won't be as close again.

Tell her you like her again, yeah. But maybe don't go out with her.
