First driving lesson..

Got my provisional through the post a few days ago, so going to book some driving lessons, yeah.

So, what did you do in your first driving lesson?

I went to the Downs and went through the basics.

My instructor asked me what I knew about various things in the car and gave his definition and explination of what everything did as we were driving to a quiet, wide road. Then did setting off and driving down the road. Got it up to about 30Mph ish and pulled into the side of the road. Did a u-turn and did the same back down several times.

Just drove about at about 20-30 (this was in a private centre) did some stopping and starting got into gear 2 ol:

i cant remember tht far back but... just got me 2 feel how sensitive the pedals are n crap

Went through the basics of where everything is and what it does and then drove down some quiet lanes to get use to it. I can't remember if I did anything else.

got told the basics and how you're supposed to do everything 'properly' - adjusting mirrors and that, drove round local streets then did a bit more busy environments in the horrifically slow 1.5 dci -.-

I drove down a dual carriage way for 5miles and round the streets never sat in the passenger seat yet I got straight in the drivers seat YAY
