Default How to attract people to my website.

Hello i have brought the domain http://www.rs-gamer.net a runescape fansite, with this i want to make money and attract the runescape community.

I am not the type whos going to spend half a year writing skill guides, quests guides, the main reason the runescape community uses a fansite...

on my site i want it to be diffrent somthing people need/want somthing usfull, so what could this be, i looking into a radio to hold events etc... just like habbo what else could i do...

becuase i am at a young age of 17 money is not the most freely avliable in my life so how could i make cash from the site, without spamming it full of ads? look into membership but membership for wat and why would they want it?

    Anything suggested would be great!!!

If you're into runescape, then surely writing guides etc wouldn't really be a chore?
The only proper way to get targeted traffic to your website that won't disappear in a flash is to write quality content on a regular basis, or if it's a community based site have a large, active community base (which really can start due to point 1). Why don't you start doing link exchanges with other likewise sites, post QUALITY posts on opposition forums with a link in your signature (non obtrusive) and you will see minor traffic at first, but as the community grows so will the amount of people joining, so will the money you're making but sadly so will the amount of spam that happens.

i guess find out what runescape users really want, then accommodate them to just that.
can't go wrong if you create what your audience wants.
