    Default Nail infection?

    Hi
Well for a year or so now, I've noticed my fingernails have all like, dry skin around them. Especially my thumb on my left hand. I didn't think anything of it, until 2 or so weeks ago when I thought I might as well get it looked at incase it's an infection. The doctor just said it was dry skin, and I got this moisturizer cream to put on it. I have put that on a few times each day for 2 weeks, and it's not getting any better. I think it could be some sort of nail infection, I've added pics below, what do you think and what do you recommend? +rep for help

you have to give it time and you have to be persistent. i have something similar. if you pick at also it wont get any better. just keep doing it a few times a day as prescribed and do it before you go bed too. wear a type of glove so it doesnt come off in your bed.

Maybe Its some type of warm or bacteria or something. You should go to a doctor to check them out.
