I got a letter through the door from the NHS this morning & I'm finaly getting a course of medication for Crohn's disease. I get steriods which make me puff up like a baloon, but, considering I've lost two stone i'll look normal and not so disformed. I'm currently in pain with my bowels, everytime I eat I get a cramp on the left which is really painful. It's like having a fat man jump up and down on your lower stomach. I don't know why, but when I'm sleeping (which is hardly ever, because I can't get to sleep with the pain) I sweat, alot. I usually wake up soaked in sweat and that's tiring & very disgusting. Seriously, if your ever diagnosed with Crohn's disease I have the greatest sympothy for you, it's debilitating & it ruins your life, up until treatment. (Or so I hope)
I've been out of school for three months, I'm hoping to return after medication and after the easter holidays, which, is a little pointless considering I come off on study leave a few days later.
Final note; Crohn's disease = Bad.
