Exclamation Phone intermittently not recognising Memory Stick :(

I'm having grief with my Sony Ericsson K770.

It's only 4 months old, and it intermittently stops recognising the Memory Stick (its the 256MB one that came with it). If I go through File Manager and select Memory Stick, it either says Memory Stick Not Inserted or No Files.

If I take it out and put it back in again, it works... for a while, then the whole problem occurs again.

Is there any fix for this?

PS: There isnt any apparant damage to the card or the reader

Could be a loose connection inside the phone. Might have to get a new one.

If youve been messing with the memory card in your hand or touching the actual gold bit like metal where it connects or if its been rubbing too hard against the phone it could have worn off and the memory card will be useless.

Try a friends memory card, or try putting it into a memory card reader then into your pc etc

Right, thanks for all your advice guys, I've fixed it I think.
Found my old V630, nicked the memory card out of that, and it's worked fine since 7PM last night, just gotta put my old one in the V630 (if it will recognise it) and bluetooth everything over.

+REP to both of you, thanks for helping me out
