windows vista activation down to ten days! +rep

i'm running out of time for the version of windows vista i'm using. somehow, the serial code I have on the box doesn't work as it's 'for another version' which is considerably muffed up considering I installed vista from that disc. i'm out of slmgr -rearms (cmd trick) so that's out of the question.

can anyone help me please? i'm so not phoning microsoft up. +rep to all.
