I don't know the difference... I suck at all this labelling stuff.

I'd say my favourite anime is Avatar but apparently that's not an anime.

Well you watch anime, like a tv programme, but read manga, like a comic.

Yeah, a lot of people exclude Avatar from the anime genre, but I'd class it as anime.
