Default 2008 - 2009 market boom, did you benefit?

This recent boom which we are still in (although it has decreased a bit) has been the biggest we've ever seen on our hotel, bigger than the famous 2006 boom. The question is, did you, have you and are you benefitting from it?

Below are some examples of previous prices, prices may be different now, or rising back up as in february/march 2009 we saw a 1/3 drop in most items prices.

    Gothic Ectoplasm Fountain
    1.0 CS upto 9.0 CS/12.0 CS

    romantique_clock
0.8 CS upto 8.0 CS (now around 5.5 CS)

    Bronze Elephant
This hit 22.0 CS at the end of 2008.

    Silver Elephant
This hit 18.0 CS at the end of 2008.

    Throne
This has increased around 15.0 CS since start of 2008.

    Jade Dragon Lamp
1.0 CS upto 3.5 CS at one point, now around 2.5 CS.

    Blue Laser Gate
1.0 CS upto 4.5 CS, now it's around 4.0 CS.

    Pistachio Ice Cream Machine
    1.0 CS upto 4.0 CS/4.5 CS.

    White Lace Pillow
1.0 CS at start of 2008 upto 3.5 CS at its peak in early 2009.

    -------------------------------------------------------

The list is endless, nearly every rare has risen in this boom, but the question is, are you richer now than you were in 2007/start of 2008?

Also to those who remember the 2006 summer boom, did you make profit then?

Erm, I sold a Gothic Ectoplasm Fountain for 8hc not long ago. I didn't think they would ever be worth that much. Looks like they've gone up again though!

In the 2006 summer boom I went from about 5.0 CS upto about 100.0 CS, in 2007 dropped to about 70.0 CS and now (2008 - 2009 boom) i'm over 200.0 CS although i'm unsure how the recent price drop has affected me.
