Weekly Updates

The weekly updates seem to be getting rather out of control, the amount of minor things being posted is just ridiculous now. You now feel the need to post an update cause you've added brackets to an FAQ..?

I'm pondering whether you're trying to get your post count up cause that thread is just full of pointless posting no one cares about. However I'm going to go with a lack of common sense, it amazes me you feel the need to post you've updated some words in the FAQ.

I personally think this shows the divide between the management attempting to be professionals (Virtually everybody is a teen behind a computer so I don't understand why you're almost pretending this is business) and the members just trying to have a laugh and discuss things, but seriously sort out the weekly updates.

I think it's stupid you say it's for them to get their post count. However, I agree with your general point. There seems to be weekly updates merely because they promised changes every week. I'd prefer you just as forum management just to make changes as and when it's necessary.

Site updates aren't being posted when there isn't anything to/been updated.
I agree about the FAQ's thing though, it seems they are just posting the updates because they said there would be weekly updates.

The post count comment is plain stupid. Management could go on the CP and add post count if they wanted? :S

Anyway i agree with the point made though, some of the things like 'We misspelt the word "the" so we changed it!'

Why does it just have to be one day to do the updates?

Why can't they just be done, when they need done.. and be logged somewhere when they are done.. not just updating on one day.

The US congress doesn't just make all their decisions and updates one day a week.

Because it gives members the impression that the forum is being worked on frequently. So basically it keeps the forum nice and fresh.
